Radiology

The Golden Jubilee National Hospital’s Department of Radiology receive referrals from Health Boards across Scotland and provides a comprehensive diagnostic imaging service for our hospital departments.

Services include:

• general X-ray;
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanning;
• Computer Tomography (CT) scanning;
• bone densitometry;
• ultrasound;
• DEXA scanning;
• respiratory examinations;
• fluoroscopy; and
• cardiology and cardiac catheterisation

We use PACS, the national Picture Archiving Communications System(PACS). This allows our images to be viewed instantly within our own hospital and others linked to the system.
 
Our Radiographers are registered with the Health Professionals Council. Our Consultant Radiologists are Fellows of the Royal College of Radiologists.
