near me logoNear Me is a new video consulting service which aims to provide outpatient consultations as close to home as possible. Appointments take place either at your home or at a local NHS clinic. 

You will see your consultant or other specialist by video link. In some clinics there may be a health care support worker or other NHS staff member with you.

To use this service, you must have received an appointment letter/email from Golden Jubilee National Hospital.

 Using Near Me

We advise you to use NHS Near Me in a private well-lit are where you will not be disturbed.

You will need a reliable internet/Wi-Fi connection and can use it on:

  • Computers with Google Chrome or Safari web browser, webcam/ front facing camera, microphone and speaker / headset.
  • Android Smartphone or Tablet with the Google Chrome browser.
  • iPad or iPhone with the Safari browser. 

If you are accessing Near Me for the first time, we recommend you make a ‘test call’ at least 30 minutes before your appointment. If you have any problems, call the number on your appointment letter or check the Troubleshooting Guide
