Dr Giuseppe Bozzetti

Clinical Director of Anaesthesia and Critical Care

With more than 20 years’ experience as a Consultant in cardiothoracic anaesthesia, our Clinical Director of Anaesthesia and Critical Care, Dr Giuseppe Bozzetti, graduated from the University of Bologna in Italy.

The oldest university in Europe and an internationally renowned Medical School, Dr Bozzetti completed his training in anaesthesia and intensive care in Italy before going on to further specialise in cardiac anaesthesia and intensive care in Toronto, Canada.

Having gained extensive experience across a range of respected healthcare institutions, he joined our team in June 2015, taking the role of Clinical Director in July 2020.

Clinical Special Interests:

• Advanced Transoesophageal Echocardiography in the operating theatre, in particular 3D applications.
• Perioperative management and care of high-risk surgical cases.
• Advanced Critical Care Echocardiography and ultrasound applications in ICU.

Additional information:

• Certified in Advanced Perioperative Transoesophageal Echocardiography (National Board of Echocardiography, USA).
• Focused Echocardiography Mentor/Supervisor on behalf of the Intensive
• Care Society.
• Mentor/Supervisor on behalf of the European Society of Intensive Care for the European Diploma in Advance Critical Care Echocardiography.
