NHS Scotland Academy

The NHS Scotland Academy is a joint initiative between NHS Education for Scotland (NES) and NHS Golden Jubilee. Situated on our hospital campus, the Academy offers fast-tracked learning opportunities and hands-on training for both current and prospective health and social care professionals. This collaboration leverages NES’s national expertise in education alongside our state-of-the-art clinical and educational facilities to provide immersive, simulation-based and digitally enhanced learning in key areas such as perioperative care, endoscopy, cataract surgery and diagnostic imaging.

Together, NHS Golden Jubilee and NES are actively addressing workforce challenges and promoting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. Our continuing partnership through the NHS Scotland Academy has already resulted in the creation of new training pathways and national education models that swiftly adapt to service needs. As we progress and innovate, this collaboration remains crucial in developing a flexible, skilled and future-ready health and social care workforce for Scotland.
