NHS Golden Jubilee launches shuttle bus trial from Dalmuir Station
NHS Golden Jubilee is introducing a new shuttle bus trial between Dalmuir Train Station and the NHS Golden Jubilee campus, following feedback from patients and members of the public.
Shuttle bus trial information:
- Trial period: until Friday 11 December
- Operating days: Monday to Friday
- Morning service: 7am – 9:45am
- Evening service: 4pm – 6:45pm
- Route: Dalmuir Train Station (Swindon Street) to NHS Golden Jubilee campus
The initiative has been developed in response to feedback highlighting the challenges some patients and visitors face when completing the final part of their journey from the station to our site. It will provide additional support for those who may be able to travel by public transport but who experience mobility difficulties.
The service also supports NHS Golden Jubilee's commitment to promoting sustainable travel options and may help reduce pressure on parking across the site.
The shuttle bus trial forms part of our ongoing commitment to improving access, enhancing the experience of patients and staff, and responding positively to feedback from those who use and work within our services.
